Creative visualization is a powerful tool to allow you to use your imagination and your creative mind to create whatever you want to manifest in your life. This technique has been around for a long time, has been well-researched, and its usefulness has been demonstrated.
Creative visualization is powerful when used frequently with focus and feeling.
Anyone can use creative visualization to achieve a desired goal. To get started, turn your attention to an area of your life upon which you want to focus.
“To transform reality, we must alter the one thing that is not fixed: the programs themselves. For our universe, these are what we call “beliefs.” So in this way of thinking of things, belief becomes the software that programs reality.”
For example, what if you had a goal to reach a certain health level in 30 days? You imagine your ideal body weight and shape, your skin glowing and your clothes fitting just right. Now, every time you reach for another sweet treat or skip your morning walk or afternoon workout, you are distancing yourself from your goal.
More importantly, every time you allow negative, self defeating thoughts to enter into your mind or you speak the words that you are not healthy or you don’t love yourself; you are working against your creative visualization and against your goal.
Every time you say positive affirmations to yourself and about yourself, you are one step closer to achieving your desired goal. It may be difficult at first to believe, but the power is in your belief and repetition. Look in the mirror every day and affirm “ I am Healthy, I am Beautiful, I am Successful.” Your mind is always visualizing, so allow your mind to experience positive and productive visualizations.
“The person who sends out positive thoughts activates the world around him positively and draws back to himself positive results.”
–Norman Vincent Peale
It doesn’t matter what you are trying to manifest. It may be to purchase a new home, make a career change, find your soulmate or improve your health. The power of your creative thoughts is endless.
Author Shakti Gawain says in her book “Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life”, the process of change does not occur on a superficial level but more through positive thinking. It involves exploring, discovering and changing our deepest and most basic attitudes toward life.
I’ve written an easy to carry little book, illustrating 35 affirmations and 35 creative thoughts to get you started on your positive journey. “The Little Book of Creative Thoughts” is available here.
Use your creative visualizations daily, with positivity, belief and complete certainty of the perfect outcome and the power of your mind. Maintain that thought. Every time your mind shifts away and you begin to experience negative, self doubt and poverty thinking; erase that negative thought and repeat continuously your positive affirmations and creative thoughts.
The thoughts we think and the words we speak are Creative Thoughts, little or big, conscious or unconscious. The power and the outcome of our lives is dependant upon how we use and manage our thoughts. Remain positive, stay consistent and believe in your creative self.
